For Meals with multiple HCPs/ GOs from multiple countries or for when an HCP/GO is traveling outside of their home country, follow the host country Meal limits unless the home country supplement states to follow home country Meal limit. See the country supplements.
For interactions with U.S.HCPs:
AST only needed for a dinner when there is an HCP speaker, or meals with 20 or more attendees.
Healthcare providers residing in MA and VT are required to purchase their own meals.
Meal spend for dinner is not to exceed $150 per person for food and beverages (inclusive of tax and gratuity)
Two drink limit for alcohol per person per day
All restaurants part of the Dine Around program meet the requirement for interactions with U.S. HCPs. For all other countries, consult the GIP Country Supplement.
Splitting among GEHC employees is permitted. However, do not split Meal expenses into multiple receipts or share expensing with others internally or with third parties with the sole purpose of hiding Meal limit overages.
HCP attending must be properly accounted for in Concur.
No spouses are allowed to attend any dinners or activities.
